Kent service is not at all that good after all. They only make it look good by taking care of all the online reviews.
So here is my story.
I inquired for the Kent Pearl in a retail outlet and found that its available at a lesser price by Rs.200, online. When I told the sales manager at retail outlet that it is available at a lesser cost online, he warned me that I will not get the same kind of service if I buy it online. I then contacted the toll free number of Kent and asked if they have separate service channel for online buyers and retail outlet buyers. After the Kent call center guy assured me that I would get same service, I went ahead and booked Kent Pearl making full payment, ignoring the warning given by retail outlet guy. And Now I am suffering.
The Kent website claims that it would be installed in 3-5 working days. Its already 10 full days since I booked and no word from Kent. When I call the call center, all they say is, they have raised the request.
So lesson learnt. Stay away from Kent if possible. At least never buy it online.
I have recorded all my conversations with Kent customer care and I have retained all the online transaction details, Just in case I have to go to Consumer court. I will wait for another week before doing that though.
