Kent with its world class product may soon die like Nokia. They are so coaxed in the monopoly of their product, that they fail to realize that if they don't work on their service part, it is bound to die a sudden death like ipods and Nokia of the world. Though the product is world class; but now, you have many competitors with half the price of Kent.
The kent services are seriously pathetic. I haven't heard of AMC costing more than 50% of the product cost. Kent has been on a milking spree the monopoly they enjoyed in the market with less than courteous staff, useless back-end and un-userfriendly pricing structure.
In Delhi, the service people don't accept cheques(saying the cheques don't work and useless, hope RBI is listening). They only do transactions in cash, I wonder if they are stashing black money.
Overall very satisfied with the product but equally dissatisfied with service, service people, cost of spares and all the other issues.
God bless the soul of Kent.
