Purchased kent grant RO plus around 2 years back from tata croma. installation was OK and the that guy gave a number to call in case of any problems.
After one year when we called that number no one responded. we got another number and got a service done.
After 2nd year we called the authorized service centre number and they sent someone who came and replaced all the filters and paid around 4K. after 3 months the water quality deteriorated with foul smell and taste. we called the authorized service centre and they send someone different this time and he told that previous service wasnt done correctly.
He told the motor isnt working. he first asked for 3.5K for replacing the motor . when I called the head office to complain about the issue they said he can replace it for 2.2K!.(3.5K to 2.2K in 5 mins) when I asked what is the warranty for new motor they said three months! thats the confidence they have in their spares.
Junking my 2 year old filter and going to buy a new one - HUL or LG which can give more professional and reliable product and post sales service.
