Recently I purchased the newly launched model of Grand+, THIS IS AN AMAZING PRODUCT, which uses reverse osmosis technology to purify water.The ro technology has been pioneered by kent ro systems ltd.NOIDA.I was earlier using aquaguard, nova model, it however failed to remove dissolved impurities from the water.Therefore iwas on a look out for a better option and I found one in kent grand+model.
TECHNICAL
The water passes through sediment filter , here all the dust particles, mud is collected, it than goes to carbon filter, here all the chemical impurities like pesticides, smell is removed. The water than passes through R O filter which is the heart of the machine, here it passes through a semi permeable membrane, whose pore size is .0001 microns, this membrane removes all the dissolved impurities like arsenic, heavy metals, which are not visible to the naked eye.
The water is than passed on to ultraviolet chamber where all the bacteria and viruses are removed. The USP of this machine is the TDS (TOTAL DISSOLVED SOLIDS) control valve by which the essential minerals removed while passing through RO stage are added back, this tds control valve is the patented product of the company and ensures that the essential minerals removed while passing through RO are added back.The technician can adjust the tds value to the optimum.
This purifier can give you mineral water quality water, with a storage capacity of 8 litres. There is a water level indicator, a buzzer alarm in case of non function of UV lamp, there is an alarm which alerts you, in case your sediment and carbon filter is blocked or choked.This is a fully automatic machine, which starts of on its own and once the tank is filled up it shuts off thereby making the water available to you all the time.
