After having a bad experience with Eureka Forbes RO system, recently around 2 months back I bought a Kent RO Grand system. Though during the initial 2 months, the purifier was functioning as expected, but suddenly one day it stopped working altogether and with that started NUMEROUS FOLLOW-UPs with so called "customer service". After 2 days of initial follow-ups finally someone turned up and told that "System's Motor is gone". Can you imagine a brand new purifier within 2 months its motor is gone??


Was told that next day will come and replace the same. And its more than 10 days that "next day" has not come yet despite daily follow-ups.


Most interestingly what I have got to know is that Kent as a company does not provide after sales service . Its the seller who sold the product is responsible for servicing as well (CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS??) . And for sellers once any complaint is received only then they put request for spare part procurement and once they receive it from Kent service is provided. What a horrible way of service warranty. Only if you purchase the product from Kent sale representative, kent provides direct service. Else only AMC at cost is provided by Kent. This shows how much confidence Kent has on its own products as it cannot even take care of product warranty on its own.


Most interestingly if you try figuring out Customer Care Number on Kent website who will end up struggling to the core. Is it that Kent somehow wants its customers not to be able to get in touch for support???


Kent as a company is just selling products by extensive marketing but with my recent experience I really doubt that they are selling quality products with service assurence. Will NEVER EVER RECOMMEND ANY ONE TO BUY KENT SYSTEMS


I was under the impression that only Eureka Forbes is into bluffing business by robbing people in the name of service where during every service visit, the bill will be not less than Rs 1500 as replacement of something or the other.


It’s our bad luck that in our country there is no control on this bluffing and robbing business in the name of after sales service.
