This is my first review on Mouthshut.
I bought the Kenstar washing machine in October 2001... almost around the time it was launched and also around the same time that I decided to buy a washing machine. I did go around looking at the other available fully automatic machines in the market and had almost decided on buying a Samsung, more so because I had not seen the Kenstar model yet. Some of the dealers even discouraged me from opting for Kenstar (probably because they were not selling it). Finally, I decided to take a risk and booked Kenstar at an exhibition.
That was the first time I was seeing the machine (though I had seen the print/TV ads). The first thing that struck me was the looks. It had all that I was looking for.... small, compact, space-saving, wheels for easy moving, in-built heater, light weight. What more could I ask for.
I've been using it for almost 2 years now and the wash quality is superb. Water & detergent consumption is minimum.
The only little problem seems to be with the service. In a couple of months, the inlet hose attachment became loose and it keeps slipping off from the tap. The service personnel take their own time in attending to the complaints. If not for this small problem, Kenstar washing machine is worth its value.
