It is very easy to operate and washes clothes smoothly. No special plumbing is required as the water outlet easily fits in Sink/Wash Basin, similary water inlet pipe fits on ordinary taps, but it is very difficult to screw it on taps and I have dedicated one tap to this machine. Size of machine is really attractive and being small it fits easily in corner, moreover due to castors it can be moved around without much effort. Though it has setting for spin drying upto 800 rpm, but start shaking violently above 700 rpm, on the whole it dries clothes well. Hot temperature is very useful option, particulary in winter season and for heavily soiled clothes.
I purchased one in October 2003. It worked very fine for one month, then it stopped functioning. But the customer care repaired it on fifth day and replaced one defective cirtcuit board. Till then i.e., November 2003 it functioned very fine. Though initially it was repaired on the fifth day but now it takes 7-10 days for ordinary repair work like replacement of broken belt, etc. The worst part of this machine is frequent breakdown and huge amount of time taken by Customer Care to repair. In Ludhiana you get service in 7-10 days, after about 15-20 phone calls. From October 2003 to June 2005 it has broken down four times and every time new people come to repair the machine, most of them rarely know any thing about this machine. They experiment for few days to find out the defect and then take huge number of days to repair it. Moreover, even ordinary parts like motor belt has to be brought from state capital ie Chandigarh.
My conclusion is that, though this machine takes less space to keep and it is easier to put dirty clothes load in the machine, yet its frequent breakdown and long-long period taken by untrained servicemen to repair it become headache. If you have rather limited space and don’t mind frequently washing clothes manually or keeping one BAI along with this machine, then it is OK.
