I have bought a kenstar tumble top in exhange for my 10 year BPL automatic . I was taken in by the looks and the host of features .
This machine is really a joy to use. You have to screw in the waterinlet pipe , as opposed to the messy plugging in with other machines . As you try to screw it in you will find the filer cum washer comes out and you gave to proerly place it and once you finish with that job . you will open three doors , a great safety feature , the last one , being very secure and tests your strength , while affixing the inlet pipe tests your patience . Then the outlet pipe is to be hung on to a nail and it is not to be left on the floor . All those , who are planning a seperate space for Washing Machine , should contrary to logic , also provide for a drain facility at exactly the same height as your inlet tap .
Then , being a sensitive machine , you would need to use only the recommended detergent . Anything else will be fatal . As you fiddle the knobs , which moves only one way and set everything , spin speed , temperature and cycle , you can sit back and relax and watch your room flood with water , as water leaks from the bottom of the machine .
your calls to the help line will be answered promplty and the mechanic will ask you if you have used any other detergent and if you have loaded the machine more . You tell him patiently that you have been using a WM for the last 10 years and you used the same detergent , which incidentally is given free- 200 Grams of it . He then asks you if you have used more then a spoon . You tell him that you have not . He then opens a small door in the machine and tells you that everything is alright .
The next day , you are faced with the same problem and you start wondering that if you have made a mistake in buying the machine . In the meanwhile , the heater after working exactly once , will fail , as it beleives in saving your power bills .
I would certainly recommend this machine to persons who would also need some physical activity and also the joy of having a machine . As my mother puts it , instead of all the trouble , it will be easier to wash the clothes ny hand . ...
