Hi,
After fairly exhaustive survey, I zeroed in on this fully automatic machine. I short listed whirlpool top loading machine and kenstar one. Finally because of the technology, ease of use and cost decided on kenstar. The people at the showrooms were discouraging.
Its ideal for small families. Can take up to 5 Kgs of clothes. It has variable temperature & spin speed and an option for half-load.
Pluses:
Advantage of both top & front loading.
Wash programs are adequate
Cost is reasonable.
Service seems to be good. (But not yet used by me)
Clothes can be added after starting the wash program
Minuses:
The drain pipe cannot be at floor level. It has to be fixed at the height of the machine. Design problem/limitations ??
Its electro-mechanical controls are a bit cumbersome.
Overall it is a good machine. So far it has done well.
