Myself Chaitali and today I am going to share my personal experience regarding the " KENSTAR KT10V " window AC which I bot around six months ago.
First things first, This outlook of this window ac is very old. it looks like we have purchased an old product from a secondhand shop. No additional design or graphics work is there and it look very boring and old. So if you are looking for a fancy product this ac is not for you. The size of this product is very big compare to other 1 ton window ac. And it takes a lot of space and does not fits in a normal size window. It is very heavy almost 12 kgs weight. So its difficult to handle. So this product is not at all handy.
The second aspect is, the quality of this product is not up to the mark compare to the price of this ac which is very high around 35, 799 rupees. The plastic quality used is very bad and it bends if you put your finger forcefully and makes noise just like it will break easily. So be careful while using this product because it can break easily.
Now the box pack comes with only the ac and a small remote, The Ac does have a small display which is a black and white small 1 inch x 1 inch LED display and the buttons are very small and quality is poor. you need to pres hard to control the ac. The instructions are not very clearly written in the guide so you need to visit the company website to know the knowledge about the ac. The remote is very small, no display is there. you need to check the details from the ac display. Nothing else is gives with the ac.
Now the performance of the now, It is not even a three star product so it consumes high amount of electricity. And the bill is high at the month end, so its better to think before buying this product. It does not have air filters so you only get cool air. No auto mode, no blower mode, no sleep mode, no inverter mode. So you need to monBrianbalakumaranr the ac manually . And for night it is not good. Its not value for money.
The cooling is not that good, It takes minimum 30 minutes to cool a standard room for this ac, which is very high. And if the out side temperature is more then 45 degree C then the ac stops working. Issues with over heating is also there. If you are using the ac for a long time then this ac becomes over heated and it stops working. The sound of the compressor is very loud outdoor as well as indoor. You cant even sleep properly while its on. So its very noisy.
The after sales service is very bad, While purchasing they said it will take two hours for the company engineers to install the ac, but after purchasing it took them three days to come to my house for installation. I tried to call them but they don't responded and came after three days without even informing, So the service is not friendly. And they also charged me extra 2, 500 rupees for the ac stand and for extra pipes which suppose to be free while purchasing the ac itself. So I am not at all happy with the customer service. This product all over is not at all very good and not worthy at 35, 790 rupees, buy other good brands with better features. I will give one out of ten to this ac for over all performance and for looks also. Its not at all worthy.
