Star Performer!. Review on KenStar MG-9605A

I still remember the day 2 years back when I shifted to a new house,and saw this ''cutie Star'' lying in the kitchen and I thought it might be a house warming gift from the owners!, high hopes though,what do u say?;-)...the very next day morning got a knock on the door and the House owner introduced me to the guy who was staying there before and then the mystery about this ''cutie Star'' was revealed.I was offered this cutie Kenstar MG-9605A which was just 4 months old for Rs.2500 and I didn't even bother to bargain with him,I thought it was destiny that had brought us together but infact I had already fallen in love with it!.

So this saga with Kenstar began and its still going strong!. I have been using it continuously since the last 2 years and I believe it provides really good features among its peers in the same price range.

The features include:

1)Heavy duty 500 W motor that runs continuously for quite a long time, long enough for ur work to get done!.( Though I have never run it for more than 15 minutes at a stretch)

2)Transparent and unbreakable liquidising jar of 1.5 litres capacity, I have dropped it a couple of times but without any casualties so far!

3)Dry, wet grinding jar of 1 litre capacity

4)Chutney jar for small quantities of dry and wet grinding 5)3 speeds for greater versatility

6)Cord winding facility at the base for convenient storing 7)5 year warranty for the motor

The performance has been very good over these 2 years to say the least.Infact when I was away for about 3 months,it became the safe hiding and mating place for a lot of cockroaches! and after cleaning it was back to its usual grind!.Apart from minor breakages like the switch breaking off once, there hasn't been any serious problems till now. I would refer this product to a family of 4 or 5 max.
