Hi all.


I am a regular visitor of Kaya Mumbai. have been to a number of clinics at Napean Sea Road, Bandra, Worli and Kala Ghoda.


My skin does not have any major problems. Just light pigmentation and very mild acne scars. I signed up for their Glycolic Peels and Advanced Facial packages as a regular skin care regime for myself. I must say Kaya Worli was very good. Staff was very polite and teh clinics were neat, clean and very hygenic. I still am a regular customer of Kaya Worli.


I went to the Kala Ghoda clinic the other day since it is close to my office.


The lady who was servicing had a poker face to say the least. Anyway, I lay down and the service started. Within two minutes the polishing got over. The quality of service was so bad. instead of carefully polishing my entire facial skin area with the dermabrasion nozzle, she arbitrarily polished here and there and finished the work in 10 strokes flat. I wanted to point that out immediately, but did not because then she would try to do it all over again. and my skin would get reddned and irritated.


Instead, I spoke to the front desk guy. he was very unapologetic. I told him that I get this stuff done regularly, its not teh first time. although it was my first time in this stupid clinic at kala ghoda. In none of my previous services has the polishing gotten over in 2 mins flat. I told him I wanted to talk to his store manager.


He went in saying he would fetch her, and came out after a long time. without the store manager.


He told me she was unavailable, (when I know for sure she was very much in the clinic) I saw her before my session had started. He asked me to fill up whatever I had to in the feedback form.


I did.narrated the horrible service I had received. and left it at the desk.


Needless to say, I have not been contacted by them. They did not even look apologetic when I told them about it, forget about expecting that they are going to make it up to me for teh bad experience. I found the bandra clinic to be ok. Not good not bad. Worli was exceptionally good. and Kala Ghoda exceptionally bad.


Oh by the way. the primary reason why I started going there was my mild scars and pigmentation. the problems still persist inspite of regular visits over the last 6 months. My sympotoms are variable. they keep increasing and decreasing frequently. But I have observed that whenever the scars go away. it has happened only because of my own care: simple things like besan and haldi. Atleast Kaya hasn't helped improve the "problem areas" the general health of my skin has certainly improved. But I cannot comment if it is because of the treatment at kaya or simply that I have started taking more care of my skin over the last 6 months!
