Hi friends,
We all & with due respect to bajaj Auto have literally underestimated this Bike.
Do you know bajaj auto had silently launched this bike..at an era when disc brake fantasy was no where! But still this bike was ignored! not even bajaj took initiative to market this bike against Victor.
Compared to caliber 115 this bike is Just short in terms of Power.
All other areas it is on par with 115 albeit better than it. Just visit any Bajaj showroom and have a look at both bikes..croma scores in styling , features & also price.
can you get Disc brake in 115 for the same price ? NO!!
Take into account the Power of bikes, croma-7.7 BHP & 115 9.5 bhp.
Lets not talk about top-speed in excess of 90 kmph.We hardly ride at that speed regularly. the practical speed range is 55-to 65 kmph avg in urban areas.
If you look at the power curves of both bikes..u would find following things..
- Cal 115- peak torque at 7000 rpm & peak power at 7500 rpm.
at say 65 kmph speed in 4th gear the engine rpm would be 4000 to 5000 rpm & at that rpm power developed is 4.5 bhp.
2.croma-peak torque at 6500 rpm & peak power at 7000 rpm.
at say 65 kmph speed in 4th gear the engine rpm would be 4000 to 5000 rpm & at that rpm power developed is 4 bhp!!
So now you Judge yourself ( unless u are a serious Red light drag racer) which bike is sensible & add to that the same disc brakes as Pulsar 150 & mileage in the range of 60-75 kpl at speeds mentioned above.i
snt the bike a good bet as compared to 115!
Guys Hop to bajaj showroom before this bike is out of production!
If any one has to say or comment on this review..pls study both the bikes & I am sure you will be positive
