Kasoor--Some Exceptional Songs. Review on Kasoor Songs

Four years old album discussed today. Why? What was the Need? The answer is that it is the Album so it must be placed in the collection of the best of the bests. Nadeem Shravan comeback through this album. The album includes Six songs five are piece of art but one is ignorable. Let’s listen this album from my words.

Kitni Bechain Hoke Tumse sung by Udit Narayan & Alka Yagnik. The superb use of Saxophone and excellent arrangements makes this song the best song of the album. When first time I have listened the song didn’t able to believe its by Nadeem Shravan. The whole tone is changed from their style the only thing which was similar to past NS music is melody its been specialty of Nadeem Shravan. The wonderful substantial music and a gorgeous tune just gets you at once listening. The picturization of the song is so sexy that it creates another mood in the song. The consistent use of Haan… Haan… is so romantic Superb song indeed.

Zindgi Ban Gae Ho Tum sung by Udit Narayan & Alka Yagnik. Again beginning with Saxophone and that’s the beauty of this album, the frequent use of saxophone. The song takes you to the very best of Nadeem Shravan days; there they have tunes like this. The very good arrangements and good supporting music with the very best of Udit-Alka vocals the song is becomes a gem. The lyrics are also the strong point of the song.

Koi To Saathi Chahiye sung by Kumar Sanu. A routine work by Nadeem Shravan with some fresh touch and a superb tune. The song has some quality moments when the second, third and last verse starts it pick the pace and which really attract the listener. Kumar Sanu whenever solo and song like this with some sort of beseech he is on the top. Good arrangements as well. the song is one the chartbusters of the year released.

Dil Mera Tod Diya Us Ne sung by Alka Yagnik. The song is very sung and composed. The lyrics are the main strength of this song. This song also continues the impact the album has created and every sad song collection by Sa Re Ga Ma HMV includes this song. Sad mood but well hadled in all departments. At some place I feel the touch of the song Shikwa Nahin Kisis Se. but it may be just a happenstance. It is also a good song.

Kal Raat Ho Gaee sung by Kumar Sanu & Alka Yagnik. Part of the album but not included in the movie. Very very ordinary lyrics and ordinary tune with the excessive tabla makes it more boring. The only weak link of the album it’s just passable. I guess if lyrics were good the song can become listenable. For the sake of this review I have listened the song with full intention and I tell you a fact that at some times I felt that the arranger has tried to use every instrument in front of him in between the song. A comic point.

Mohabbat Ho Na Jaey sung by Kumar Sanu & Alka Yagnik. You will be thinking why I have put this song at last place as this song means something to me. Its simply one of the best tune Nadeem Shravan ever produced. The perfect singing, the awesome orchestration and the wonderful wonderful tune makes this song the sweetest song of all times. The chorus before the last verse adds some more to this extraordinary song. The softness of the tune just ruined my head whenever I have listened the song.
