I went to Kasol during on season during the month of june. the bus left the four us on bhuntar from where we took local bus to Kasol which was one hour away. we did not book any rooms so we had to search for hotels when we went there. tents are available at cheaper rates than rooms. there is accommodation for richest to the average.
There are three four places worth visiting in Kasol which include Tosh where you can get hash brownies but there not much there. then there is kheerganga which is a five hour Trek and there is a hot water spring at kheerganga. you must Trek there one day and spend the night there and then come back the next day. Also there is Manikaran which has a beautiful gurudwara just by the side of the river. we could not visit Manikaran due to shortage of time. There is also a village chalal. there is also a place called Malana.
