Kashid is a good weekend getaway. It is further down alibaug and the scenery is breathtaking with mountains on one side and sea on another. The roads are excellent to drive on. One would njoy driving due to its beautiful scenery. The best part is its not that crowded n one would be able to recreate oneself.**Friends holiday home further down kashid on the way to murud is a good place to stay. It is quite close to the beach.they serve good food which is made to order. The fried fish n curry was excellent. Murud is also a good place to buy dry fish but dnt forget to bargain.
Mahalaxmi farm house on the way to kashid 4m alibaug near nandgaon is a good place to have once heavy breakfast. The dahi misal served here is mouthwatering and a heavy breakfast. Murud further down is also a good place. The beach in kashid is damn clean n beautiful. If on loves sunsets on the beach on must visit kashid .
