Yes..thats the first thing that I noticed about the beach. I have been in mumbai for more than two years now nad for me, beaches in mumbai meant floating garbage, dead fish and black, brackish water. and that is not specific to ane place, it is everywhere and whichever beach in mumbai that you go to visit. the sight of which is enough to convince you not to touch even a drop from it. well...that was much before I came to kashid beach resort.
this happened to be a office picnic, as we fondly called the excursion. it took us barely 3 hours to reach the hotel. the beach bekoned us from the road but we held on to it till we reached the destination. we couldnt stop ourselves as soon as we landed. we quickly checked in and drank the cool nimbu pani that awaited us. after that, there was nothing to stop us!
we ran off to the beach..boss, colleagues and all..!! and lo and behold, there stood in front of me..the most beautiful and CLEAN beach I have ever come across in the city. I couldnt believe it...i had been hell bent about not stepping into the water but looking at it, I couldnt stop myself. in fact I was more drenched than anyone in the whole office! they had to yell at me to get me out of the water. it was simply the best!
i wouldnt say the company was the resaon, coz work people will always be what they are. the beaches just took me for a suprise. it was breathtakingly beautiful! I waited there till the sun set and then slowly I trudged the way back to the resort.
