From Pune Route No.1 - Pune -Paud(24kms).Crossing close to Vile(87kms).Mumbai- Goa Highway, NH17(109). Take the Left turn at Kolad(109kms).Roha(122kms). Vikram Ispat, Salav(156).Revadanda Bridge Post(157kms).Kashid(172).In this route, you would escape Alibaug.
From Pune Route No. 2 -Pune-Khapoli-Pen-Vadkal Naka-Alibaugh-Revdanda-Kashid.

Why Kashid: White Sand Beach, a very quiet place, most of the networks don't work, and believe me the trip won't cost you much. A perfect Weekend Getaway, fabulous experience of short trip.
Facilities available on the Beach: Football, Volleyball, Baby tubes, big rubber balls for kids, Cricket bat and ball.Of course all are with nominal charges.

.The Picnic Park is the 1stfrom the beach and my pick also.
Meals at staying places: Pay as per orders. Custom made cuisines, mostly as per your choice, but doesn't cost much. Even fix meals are available, Veg meals costs @ 75/person & Non Veg Rs. 90. You can have Ala-carte also.
Note: Beer & Drinks are available at Murud or at Alibaug.All the staying places are very friendly. You purchase your own drinks(as they don't keep), and request them to put it in their refrigerator, which they agree. Use it when you require it.
Don't expect too much from the hotel. These hotels are actually a set of 4-8 rooms, with a small garden, with no power back-up facility.(you actually won't need them). Carry your own towels, extra trunks, dry snacks, Bed Sheets as the one from the hotels would be a sub-standard.
.The ideal way to plan your trip could be like this.
You reach the hotel by 10am(If you leave by 6am from Mumbai/Pune). Go straight to the beach, soak yourself in the majestic blue water of the Arabian sea. May be you can try out your swimming skills, take some rest in the Hammoks, enjoy tea(or Vodka/Beer if you are carring it), with onion bhajia, coconut Water for the little ones, poha, aloo bhajia, even Maggi, etc. come to the hotel by 12:30 pm(you can stay back if you want to be sun-burnt) and have your lunch and relax till 5 pm. Go to the beach and enjoy till the sun set. If you are lucky, you may find somebody playing Guitar(believe me, its FOC) and would be making everybody's evening a spendid one. You can stay max 30 mins post the sunset as the place in not lit-up. Go to the hotel, have dinner in the garden, and enjoy the clear sky.
Next Day, (you may also check-out hotel in the morning, by this you would be paying for only 1 day)
Leave by 8 am to visit Murud Janjira beach(black soil) and fort. It is 20 kms and takes 30 mins. One can avoid Murud beach as it has nothing to offer, specially if you have visited Kasid 1st. Fort is aroung 6 kms from Murud market/beach. To visit the fort you have to use boats which are available in every 20 mins. There is nothing inside the fort. but the fort itself is everything.and that is you have to use the boat.oh yes! **A fort on an island and the size of the fort is the size of the Island.
Search for Patil Dhaba in the Murud market.enjoy Veg thali @ Rs. 50 and Non Veg Thali @ Rs. 70.
Even this dhaba is photogenic as like the entire place. Do visit this dhaba. There is a Beer Shoppe at Murud.
