Thinking about writing a review in a slight different manner, here?s my review on another Ekta Kapoor soap opera. Let the characters introduce themselves to you.
Anuraag Basu
Hi, I?m the hero of the soap. I do only 3 Ks on the show
Krying like a baby on trifles
Holding the Kollar of other men in a fit of anger that actually looks comical
Kounting stars & praying on seeing Shooting stars
I?m the most foolish character ever created by Ekta Kapoor & I don?t have an iota of common sense.
Few episodes ago, I tried to hold Mr. Bajaj?s collar but the old but brave Bajaj grabbed my collar & pushed me against the wall.
I wonder ?Wah Buddhe Wah; Kaunsa Chwayanprash khaate ho??
I keep on suspecting Prerna?s loyalty but expect her help whenever someone dumps me.
My name should have been: Besura raag Basu
Prerna Sharma cum Bajaj cum Basu cum Bajaj
I?m the heroine of this programme & I?m the most sought after person in the show.
My 2 lovers are Anuraag ?Baby? Basu & Rushabh ?Ruining? Bajaj.
Since I was previously married to Bajaj, I later married Anuraag as his second wife & then went back to Bajaj.
Common point: I?m the second wife of both Bajaj & Basu
Fed up of this, I feel I?m ?Na Is paar Na us paar, Main phassi Beech Majhdhar.?
My son, Prem Basu died when he was kidnapped & now I have given birth to another boy who will provide bone marrow for my daughter Sneha who is suffering from blood cancer.
Mind you, the father of both kids is Anuraag Basu, who has always produce child as an out of wedlock relations.
Rushabh Bajaj
I am the father of 3 kids & I married Prerna since I wanted her to make my kids responsible.
I love Prerna but I know I have acquired her by incorrect means & hence, though she is in my house, there are miles of distance between her & me.
I am a shrewd businessman & can finish that Dumb Basu at any point of time.
My first wife Maneka Bose has died, as Ekta?s ideas & now, my saali Madhvi Bose is staying in my house.
When Prerna?s daughter was about to be born, she was blamed of giving birth to an illegitimate child & that was the time, I helped her.
Though Sneha is Anuraag?s daughter, she still calls me Dad & I love her as my own daughter.
Unlike Baby Basu, I don?t cry over trifles but plan out strategies & when alone, drink alcohol to forget Prerna?s memories.

How dare you forgot to write about the ?Lika? lady, the Guilty ? free Gadfly who causes all Misunderstanding ? borne diseases.
My outfits & make ? up keep on changing once every 1 to 2 months.
I was Anuraag?s first wife & then married his brother Subrito.
I always manage to win everybody?s confidence, even I commit heinous crimes
I have done PhD with Distinction as a CID & CIA agent
Bajaj is the only one who can keep me a tough fight.
All members of the Basu family are as Dumb as Donkeys.

I am the ?Rapchick? helper of Komolika mai & assist her in all her vampish activities.
I constantly keep on passing Sarcastic comments on Mai & irritate her at every point of time.
I?m paid hefty amounts by mai but at long intervals & after repeated insistence.
I have a clownish expression on my face to make moments comical.
Nothing more about me, as Mai is urgently calling me.

Aparna
I?m Anuraag?s third wife (God: How many times is the Crying baby going to marry?)
I was the one who attempted to kill Anuraag & set the TRPs soaring high.
I committed the murder the same evening, Sony?s new programme Ayushmaan was launched.
By attempting to kill Anuraag, I also managed to kill Sony?s viewership.
I was about to get Anu?s wealth had he not come back in the typical Ekta Kapoor style.
I also killed my ex ? husband Debu & currently I?m absconding.
I hated Anuraag, as he always loved Prerna & only kept on looking at the sky to count stars ? How kiddish of him!
I?ll be killed in the near future & then, the story will take a 20 year leap.
Moloy Basu
I?m a mere caricature who just gives sermons to Anuraag & Prerna.
Anyone can easily shake the foundation of my house & business.
Also, I have given the entire authority to Anuraag & hence, that idiot keeps on transferring his entire wealth on any of his wives, without ever thinking about his family.
Mohini Basu
I?m the most foolish wife, mother & saas, Ekta must have ever created.
I easily forget Prerna?s good deeds & Komolika?s misdeeds.
I insult Prerna every now & then but I always ask her for help whenever anything goes wrong: How sly of me, hai na?

Best friendship: Between Rushabh Bajaj & his friend Gupta ? Both show an absolute maturity over personal & professional relations & the presence of this duo makes the serial worth watching.

Story
Before 8 year leap: Khudgarz + Baazigar + Devdas + Deewana + Karobaar
After 8 year: Chori Chori Chupke Chupke (CCCC) + Karz

The story is actually a combination of all these stories but in different proportions.

Komolika won the Award for Best Souten, though actually Prerna is the Souten
Whenever Anu & Prerna come, songs from Kucch to Hai, begin in the background, wasting at least 10 minutes of the show, showing just boring romance.
Anuraaj keeps crying more than Prerna, at least 4 times a week (indicating the time for changing his diapers)
Despite financial crisis, the Basu family never fails to organize expensive Kali pujas at least twice in a month.
Anuraag Basu doesn?t know anything about anything occurring in his own house.
