What’s wrong with these people? I started watching Kasamh Se this summer and immediately felt it was a story for the modern society with female characters able to hold their own and male character being a smart man with integrity, confidence and analytical mind. But in the past one month, it appears that the writer/s and director have lost their mind. The serial has actually become sickening. Before any closure is brought to an issue, another new character or issue is inserted that has no connection to the story at all. No one in the story seems to care who tried to kill Jai Walia, and for what reason. They coolly forget the issue until they feel like they should show another attempt on his life, then again move on. Jai is a business tycoon, but shows no intelligence whatsoever, he has no advisors, body guards, lawyer, no one by his side, only Bani is his savior for every crisis. Ms. Pia is his only other associate who he ends up sleeping with and now to father her illegitimate child. He seems so lost and weak in character, like a puppet, it is pathetic, he has lost his charm. I wonder how he ran his empire before Pia and Bani came into his life. As long as someone bears his child, he is willing to go through all the blackmailing. Bani is getting extremely annoying with her goody-two-shoe behavior and her stupidity and martyrdom. I thought she was smart but it doesn’t appear so. I miss old Jigyasa. By the way what happened to Ranvir and Jigyasa’s plot to steal the property, it is also left unfinished since Barnali came into the scene. I like Pushkar and Rano a lot, they seem to be the only sensible people in the entire Bani sisters team, but has Pushkar lost his mind as well to accept Pia’s baby as his own, when he should be the one making noise over Pia getting pregnant while still married to him and separated for such a long time? How can he be so stupid to not know Pia was fooling around his back? Coming to Pia, she is most disgusting with her selfish, insensitive and greedy character. She doesn’t even flinch once to think that she is actually trying to snatch her own sister’s husband. Ranvir physically abusing Rashi is so yesterday. The Indian TV is turning into a mad house, where they show you don’t have to look outside your home for an enemy. Your own sister can be your biggest enemy attacking your most personal relations like your husband or in case of Saath Phere, even your life to get your husband. By the time the writer/director bring these people to justice, many viewers would have stopped watching this show. My husband has already stopped watching it and I am also considering it seriously. All in all, this show has become too disturbing as well as disgusting.
