Karthik Farhan, once again proves his ability to act and this time he takes his audience along with him in his journey from low self image loser to a respected high confidence achiever, to fighting an anonymous caller. When I saw the trailer I had a good vibe about the movie, so decided to catch it on the first day of the release. To my satisfaction the intuition proved right and I was thoroughly satisfied with the entire product.
The script is tight and it wont let you move out of your seat. The first half gives a good start and entertains with its crisp dialogues and humor and little bit of suspense, only to get better in the second half as it keeps you glued to the seats till the last frame where the entire plot is reveled. This truly is an International form of cinema, and one clearly can associate its premium quality with the Oscar winner "A Beautiful Mind". Farhan Akthar is a superb multi talented artist who wins your heart with his superb performance as a loser and we naturally tend to hate people who puts him down, on the flip he convincingly acts as a super confident stud to win his lost prestige and his love, and we love to see his sweet revenge of success.
The other dimension of his personality where he gets mysterious calls from Karthik who knows him all, is definitely praise worthy. Deepika gets better with each passing movie and she might soon over take Kareena's popularity, who is usually seen in sense-less movies. The only non convincing actor is Shefali Chhaya who is forced to wear specs to look like a psychiatrist, Someone senior like Shabana Azmi or Simmi Gerawal would have added tremendous support to the thrilling sequences. Over all a good job by Vijay Lalwani as a DIrector.
I loved this flick, KCK is an intelligent flick for people who like to get involved in the movie. Its worth a Dekkho.
