LATEST: excellent service - I have taken the handset to the Karbonn service centre complaining poor sound quality in the speaker mode while playing FM/ voice recorder/Navigation etc. Service guys were quite cordial, and after a software reload as the problem still persisted, they gave me a replacement of new handset almost immediately. It is a different matter the new handset also have the same problem. still the phone is really quick, Touch of the new handset is also very good.

Bought the phone on 5th jan. 2013 for Rs. 9300/-,
Major observations from a user point of view are LOW RAM, TO KEEP PERFORMANCE CONSISTENT EVERY PAGE VISITED IS TO KILLED MANUALLY AS PRESSING HOME WILL NOT CLOSE THE PAGES, VERY POOR SOUND QUALITY THROUGH SPEAKERS SO ALSO WEAK RING TONES AND MUSIC/ FM THROUGH SPEAKERS(in call sound quality is excellent), BATTERY IS VERY POOR- HARDLY LAST A DAY WITH NORMAL MODERATE USE, NO BACK COVERS OR FLIP COVERS AVAILABLE IN THE MARKET, POOR CAMERA DURING NIGHT, TOUCH SOME TIME SUPER SENSITIVE SOME TIME NOT RESPONSIVE.
