Great story....Great Novel. Review on Kane And Abel - Jeffrey Archer

This is one of the best books I have ever read. It has drama, suspense, romance, and enough plot twists to keep the most savvy reader breathlessly reading until the heart-wrenching conclusion. You feel dazed when you reach the end of this book. I have read archer's other books like A matter of honour, Honour among thieves, Not a penny more Not a penny less, First among equals, The 11th commandment. And I had heard a lot about the book Kane and Abel and its sequel The Prodigal Daughter. So I bought both books and started with Kane and Abel.

All you need to know about the story is that it is about the rivalry between two people. William Kane and Abel Rosnovski both enter the world in 1906. One is born to a wealthy, socially prominent Boston family. The other is born in poverty in Poland to a woman who dies during childbirth. They each have a remarkable life story that makes for spellbinding reading until the finale in 1963. And thats all you need to know.

You will be fascinated by Archer's storytelling and the vivid characters he portrays. You will root for Abel and take him to your heart. You will be fascinated with William and wish only the best for him. But when these two young man become rivals, you are worried about the fierce hatred between them.

The ending of this book is great. You are really spellbound and you cannot stop thinking about kane and abel once you have finished reading this book. A successful blockbuster TV series was made on kane and abel. Peter Strauss and Sam Neill are Abel and Kane, respectively.

I would place this archer book on top of any archer novel I've read till now. I finished this late last night and have been thinking about Abel and William all day. I can hardly wait to start on the sequel, ''The Prodigal Daughter.''
