Thaanga mudiyathu swamy..... Review on Kandhasamy Movie

What more can I write when I being an ardent fan of super heros and Vikram dozed off in the middle of the film.

I think the story of the film has been told time and again starting from Kayamkulam kochunni, Robin Hood * from old folk tales to *Sivaji. Economic disparity keeps the world going and brings out the best and worst in everyone. Throwing sacks of money into poor homes corrupt them. They must have actually earned it to know the value of money.

The message of the film is bonafide but the screenplay and the narration lacks innovation. Why should a person trying to change the world hide behind a super hero mask. More than that he has to have a team following him with ropes and TAPE RECORDER(sounds outdated).

Vikram was telling in an interview that the super hero was to attract the children whom the film will really disappoint. The super hero's dialogue "adikkame adichidum." or something is too fast and no one on earth can get it and the action is nothing but crap. Anyway we have a superhero who can win fights just by doing hen dance and one single punch.The introduction of the super hero was in itself a dampner.

Without the super hero it would have been atleast watchable. One thing to the director a super hero has to have some super powers not just a good intention backed by ropes and tape recorders.

Any way I had a nice paid sleep.
