My kid is 11 months now and he was born premature just after completion of 8 months.Initially when he was born he was on mothers milk and also he was breahting quite good.So the doctor did not insist on keeping him in incubator. All was fine untill 3rd month. But all of suddenly he started to struggle in taking breathe and we could notice the wheeze sound and difficulty of the child in no time.We got him admitted in a local hospital and after 8 days he was discharged and charged with Rs 38000 in Tirupathi. After that again in 9 th month he was admitted back into hospital for the same problem and again I have paid rs 28000 in Tirupathi. Later in 11th month he was again admitted to the previous hospital at Tirupathi and this time the doctor after 48 hours of treatment and observation told us to take him to Kanchi kamakoti child trust Hospital as he is not recovering with the treatment at Tirupathi and he is beyond the control of Doctors hands, We had to arrange an ambulance which has an ventilator facility and luckily we got it and rushed immediatley with in 2.5 hours to Chennai Kanchi Kamakoti chld trust hospital and reached there at 1:00 am in midnight. As soon as we reached the emergency staff rushed and took the infant into their control and started the initial treatment. Noteworthy to mention bout the duty doctor Dr Kiran Sir( dont know full name) he comforted the infant as well as all of our family members and was continously monitoring my kid in the emergency unit for the whole night. It was he who saved my child I guess and later he awaited till the senior consultant Dr T.Vasanthi mam came and informed the case in detail and the situation when infant was brought into the hospital and the present situation and left. And from than onwards Dr T.Vasanthi mam was the consulatnt and she made the whole treatment and got my infant out of emergency unit within 20 hours of admission. We were quite strange to see our child getting normal and again smiling. For five days we were in general ward of infants and in all 5 days mam used to visit my infant atleast three times in a day and used to monitor the situation and also made us know what was the problem and what sort of treatment is going on.Finally my kid was discharged and we could see him again smiling happily and back to normal state as he was before getting infected with this viral infection.I am here writing this long story just to say that I have got my kid tested by many doctors but no one gave a proper treatment nor a solution nor even what the problem was.It was in KKCH by both Dr Kiran, duty doctor as weel as Senior consulatnat Dr T.Vasanthi who just saved our kid.
