Rajeev Ravi has been the one Malayalam director whose works are always created a natural feeling of a story to the audience. His third directorial effort is no exception. Kammattipadam features Dulquer Salman in lead role with Vinayakan, Vinay Fort, Shine Tom Chacko and sunny Wayne in the supporting roles. The plot of the story revolves around the gangsters in the city oh Kochi. The movie showcase the life of Krishnan(Played by DQ) in 3 stages of it. DQ has done an excellent work in his character. All other cast also did well. The cast performance is the one big thing I felt excellent about this film. There is much importance to sound tracks in this film. Music was dealt by John P vaekey and Vinayakan. Another notable thing is the cinematography. The cinematographer Madhu Neelakandan has done an exceptional job. Even though movie is delight to watch in the first half, it lags a bit in the second half and we can feel the lack of depth in the script at some times. Overall Kammattipadam is a decent action movie which is of course a one time watch.
