I went there in a situation when there was no water supply to take bath or to drink even. littering were everywhere. I was in a queue at 6:30 am and entered into the temple at 1 pm. The main reason behind this late was the intentionally fault in system. they create this long queue just to show outsiders so that they buy a ticket worth 500 for a special queue.
But believe me it is an illusion. this special line also merges with the main line after some time. They will keep you waited in a narrow alley while in a queue. you can't come back out of the queue once entered in the alleys. So if you have a patience of standing 6 hours and then going inside the temple just for 5 minutes then go. Temple has become a source of income for government and other fraud people.
