Anything you order is horrendously overpriced. On top of that, the quality sucks. We were a group of 8 ppl, ordered mostly udipi (south Indian) items, like idli-vada, dosas etc, only one guy asked for a grilled sandwich. Only the sandwich was satisfactory(irony of this so called udipi joint). Sambar was just watery & not a trace of single grain of dal. Just some tomato rasam powder mixed in hot boiling water. The medu wada was rubbery & seems like made 2-3 days before. Yucks, i had to leave mine for the dogs.
Average idli-vada cost is rs.38/40 & quality is real bakwas. Even your road-side idli-wallah has better stuff than these robbers. No dish was worth eating and we really paid horrendously ugly prices for this trash.
Stay away from kamats highway hotels, especially panvel one & khandala one.. These guys are daylight robbers.
Ps note: (other kamat hotels, ie in colaba, hubli , goa & pune etc are real nice places - serving yummy & quality stuff, do visit them )
