Bad choice- Kal Kisne dekha. Review on Kal Kisne Dekha Movie

Months after the strike between the producers and multiplex owners, all parched movie lovers hit the theatres to catch any movie available. We too were among them and saw 'Kal Kisne dekha' only to our utter disappointment.

This is a story of a guy Nihal Singh portrayed by Jackky Bhagnaani who comes to the big city Mumbai to fulfill his dreams.

He joins as the science student in a college where all the so called students are just whiling away their time on the steps or having auditions for dance competitions.

Nothing fresh in the story. The first half is all about college life just as any other movie would show it- colour, fun, romance and jazzy little dresses. Nihal displays a scientific "vision" (6th sense) in his studies much to the amazement of his science professor- Rishi Kapoor who actually is a bad guy and makes bombs to blow up places. Moving over to Nihal’s college life, there are some seniors to take care of his ragging and then end up as his friends. The lady love is played by Misha (Vaishali Desai) who is a spoilt brat in the beginning but turns into an angel later on. There's a love triangle which somehow disappears into thin air in the first half itself. Songs seem to crop up in every 5 minutes.

The second half suddenly focuses on Nihal’s “vision”. He helps the police to track down bombs and guess what? His vision also tells him which wire to cut to diffuse the bomb. Too much to digest. Surprisingly he seems to have visions only related to bomb blasts.

Abouts the actors:

The leads play their parts sincerely. Jackky's acting, dancing and fights are admirable. Goes without saying that Rishi Kapoor sir has done full justice to his role. There are many more famous faces that you'll see in this movie- Juhi Chawla, Sanjay Dutt, Farida Jalal, Satish Shah, Archana Puransingh, Rajpal Yadav, Ritesh Deshmukh sprinkled all over the movie just to make up some spice but it really doesn’t work that way. India's public is not so foolish as to be carried away by the "aath aane ki murgi wrapped in baara aane ka masala".

You’ll like a couple of songs in the movie. They’ve been shot at beautiful locations. My personal likes- Aasmaan Jhuk Gaya Pal Yahin Ruk Gaya, Teri Meri Gal Ban Gayi

Sadly, we din’t have any visionary powers before heading for this movie.
