At the beginning let me just say that I'm not much of a Hindi film Viewer. I would never even think of actually sitting through 3 hours of wet hankies and take-an-aspirin-to-cure-my-headcahe type of movies. But then... I saw a movie that cahnged my way of thinking completely. Of the movies I have watched thus far, I prefer watching Satya/vaastav types and even Govinda's are OK. The last ''mushy/ love triangle/ Ill - tell-u-i-love-you-at-the-end'' movie I saw was Mujhe Kch kehna hai. But this one is something else. Although it has everything that a hindi movie would boast of, romance, good landscapes with Shahrukh spreading his arms (u must have seen the song as well ), this movie is defnetely worth watching just once.
The entire old mushy concept ahs been given a new angle just by mindset of seeing this movie.
Sharukh has done it again as always, but watch out for Saif... simply brilliant !
One thing I didint understand though is why someone would narrate the entire story of one's life to someone else when JOGGING ???
One note of advise, take a large quantity of good quality absorbing tissue paper and some plastic bags to dispose them in. Do keep some aspririns handy !
Overall the story line is good, direction and acting of most is great and the soundtrack is absorbing.
The humor is spicy though limited but the climax makes you cry sponge like a sponge dripping, but you will clap your heart out !!
