KGGK ,the daily heavy dose of emotional outpouring, is created and designed by Ekta Kapoor,the reigning queen in TV shows direction.The serial is distinguishable from the rest of Ekta Kapoor creations because of the kind of storyline which
it projected and the consistency of powerpacked performances by all the conceived characters. Designer saris, designer suits and business suits are visibly the fashion statements made by the respective characters along with the cosmetic look.
People talk about crying skills of Parvati but my argument is that any human who is in a state of agony is supposed to express one's emotions .It outlines the story of a rich business class joint family,headed by Om Agarwal who unfortunately dies accidently in this serial, and his devoted wife Parvati Agarwal,the epitome of womanhood .Parvati is the role model female for those ladies who are geared up for shielding their entire family against all sorts of odd circumstances.Parvati is defined
as the woman of substance with loads of self-confidence and unbreakable faith in divinity. There are two more brothers of Om Agarwal,one popularly known as Kamal and the other is elder to Kamal and younger than Om Agarwal.
The story keeps on revolving around these principle characters and how these people face crisis with immensely bold attitude and steel will.
There is a character of Pallavi who has also been the wife of Kamal but has left him and is a potentially negative character who keeps on burning in fire of jealousy and revenge.Kamal is now happily married to a sensible and responsible lady.
The daughter of Parvati is Shruti who is not the real daughter of Parvati but is still showered with intense love and heartfelt affection and even Shruti loves her parents with immense sincerity.Shruti exudes extraordinary self-confidence generated by her love for her family.Family values and traditions are handled with dexterity in this serial .
Villains keep on stepping in every now and then in this high profile melodrama,one of them being Sasha ,the son of cousin brother of Om Agarwal,who also wishes to destroy the peace and prosperity of Om Agarwal’s family.A typical family feud which arises among cousin brothers but Parvati is bold enough to confront the notorious Sasha ,the man with fiery brown eyes and a cunning grin on his face who amusingly titles her “Parvati Auntie”.One more character who is the only sister of Om Agarwal who lives in her family despite her marital status and keeps grudge against Parvati .Om Agarwal dies in mysterious circumstances and Parvati is left alone helpless and morose,crying bitterly in loneliness.Then she starts getting clues of her husband’s death and even gets to know about his killer who is also the business partner of the family.At the altar of worship she takes a solemn promise of avenging the death of her husband for which she even has to get married to the killer under a contract but after collecting satisfactory evidence against her enemy,she gets him behind the bars .The man is currently being convicted for Om Agarwal’s murder in the serial.But the family of Om Agarwal resents the decision of Parvati’s marriage to Om’s killer who is supposed to be Suyash Mehra and dumps her out of the family fold.After Kamal’s arrival back to his home the situation is made clear after a string of arguments and Parvati is brought back in her own home,the home of her husband,the husband who was her life..
With the umpteen number of twists and turns which signify the spirit of struggle and the inevitable conflict between the good and the evil, the serial is one of the major hits under the aegis of Ekta Kapoor production house,Sri Balaji Productions.
