I was very excited about the film. With the greatest star of bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan, the king of the 90's , Shahrukh Khan and the latest heart throb, Hrithik Roshan among the cast, the film promised a lot, but failed to deliver.

The film had a stupid story. It tried to attract the audience by touching there motional chord and harping on the theme of relationship between a parent and his children.

Jaya Bachchan looks old, while Amitabh looks young. There is a stark contrast between the character of the husband and the wife.

Amitabh Bachchan is a rich businessman (the kind that buys helicopters at breakfast) who is very rigid about his family tradition. He throws his elder son (Shahrukh) for marrying a poor girl (Kajol) ( It must be admitted, the character of Kajol was very much different from the elegant Shahrukh ). They move to London.

Amitabh's younger son, then 9 or 10, and fat, grows up to be Hrithik and then only comes to know that his brother has left home (how is that possible ?). He vows to bring him back. He goes to London, searches a vague website, and bingo, he gets the address of Rahul Raichand, his elder brother.

The rest of the film depicted how the family is reunited.

Kareena Kapoor has no role to play except showing off her skin, the only source of entertainment in the film.

Jaya Bachchan does nothing but cry. She is wasted in this film. In fact a major part of the film comprises of these crying scene.

The saving grace of the film is Amitabh and Shahrukh's acting. They seem to pair up really well. They did well in Mohabbatein although the film was crap.

They perform really well. Also the songs are of very good quality. The title song, sung by Lata Mangeskar, and the song ''You are my Soniya'' are my favourites.

That is why the film gets 3 star, but is not recommended.
