I was about to write my comments under 'comments section' for the review written by RoySiddharth. But as my comment was becoming longer and longer... I thought why not post it as a review instead.

So, here are my thoughts about this movie -

Nice start... typical Karan Johar glam, cinematography and actors (Kajol!!!!). But as the story proceeds I start loosing the grip of the story. By the end... I am totally confused and questions like - WHO? WHY? WHEN? and a BIGER WHAT???? come to my mind.

I fail to understand WHY things were falling apart in the life of these two couples. Easily seen Dev could not take the shock of loosing his career and fame. He was mentally disturbed (I am tempted to use 'psychic'). I want to ask just one question to Mr Karan Johar... what next? I can very confidently say and m sure everybody can foresee that with his this physical and mental condition, Dev would not go longer even with Maya. Maya, another character, who is so much under complex of not been able to give Rishi a child... would her grieves end if she marries Dev? Her sorrow would still remain, because basically Dev does not hate kids... he loves kids but he wants to make his kid a football player. Would he still not want that to happen! - to have a smarter kid who would be good at football also!

I would still have accepted if the movie had ended this way - Rishi-Maya adopting a child and Reah taking her crazy husband to a Psychologist... and then one caption of 'AFTER 5 YEARS'.... Rishi becomes more involved in households. He is a mature husband and a good father. Dev overcomes his mental shock and accepts his handicap and is teaching football to handicap kids.

The only message I see coming from this movie is... "tu nahi koe aur sahi... aur nahi koe aur sahi". Life goes on types. Height of practicality! Absolutely no efforts to mend things.

Thank God I didn't go to the theatre to watch this movie... I had the privilege of forwarding some real immature dialogues and scenes so was able to 'cut the long story short' in 1.5 hours only.

phew!
