"What's wrong with you ? You should have asked me beofre taking the tickets. Trust me, Kabhi Khusi Kabhi Gam (KKKG) was 100% interesting in comparision to this movie " - Were the words of one of my friends in NZ who has watched the movie before me.And he was not at all except the later part, cause I cant take KKKG as interesting, no matter what.

Whenever I have switched on my TV after the films release, all I can see is its promos in some way or the other. Interviews with the cast, Songs in Mtv and channel V and trailers to say the least.

It seems Karan Johar has realised that his formula is getting outdated and monotonous.

After seeing the movie, the first thing that I wanna comment on is Abhishek Bachan's work.I think its really commendable. I dont think I have to mention Amitabhs work ...He was simply great, although he took up a little deriding role as compared to his stature. Rani was looking quiet apealing in most of the scenes.Priety is getting old, but still a heart-throb. I have never really liked Shahrukh Khan and he lived up to my expectations.Same old style....I think Khan ji should realise that he no longer suits the choclate hero of DDLJ

I liked the story though, except the ending, and is quiet debatable. It is mainly about an extramariatal-relationship.A relationship harvested by two souls namely Dev and Maya. Both were married and had lovely counterparts.Dev had a lovely wife who is, however, too career oriented and fails to spend time with him or their kid. Maya had a loving husband who also loves to party a lot and lead a lively life, unlike Maya who is more of a homely girl and whos idea of a perfect weekend would be to clean the house , cook food and stay in. So, both Dev and Maya craved for some moments of togetherness in solitude and coincidentally when they meet over a couple of times and get to know each other, love happens. It is at that time however that the other couterparts, unknowing of the fact that their better halves are going around with each other, decides to give their relationships one more chance. Soon realising that the relationship has no meaningfuil end, Dev and Maya calls it off and returns back to their respective partners and, foolishly, confesses about the extramarital affair they had to their counterparts who then disowns them.....blah blah blah

At one point in the movie I started hating Dev and Maya both.May be cause the movie was dragging a bit long and also perhaps because they seem to be unfaithful. But then S h I t Happens and so does Love.
