Were the expectations too high or the film was a big dud was the first thing I started to ponder at the exit gate of the theater. People little amused and everyone was more busy in getting their butts out than even discuss about the movie and I mean people from every age group. Young minds were even more confused and little aged did not have any reasons to waste their time on a useless drama over God knows what affairs. I just read karan doesn't wish to marry, I think he is right in doing so as he would only ruin a girl's life by leaving whenever he feels like without any reason.

dear karan - you show two people going away from each other hundred times in a moview. you use that plot in KKKG and other moview, it is such a cliche' Are you out of ideas?

I feel sorry for preity, ultimately she was shown to be the ultimate sufferer even when she decides to give away everything for her family and ultimately gets a refused promotion, a liability in shahrukh's mother and the son. everyone else was "settled". BTW karan did put AR just in case people think that preity would atleast get something after "howmuch time". The Plot of the moview was a big dud, if karan wanted to show how people who are not happy in their marriages should move on, then he failed to show an unhappy marriage. My goodness what did poor abhishek do so that his wife goes on sleeping around? I need not put more words in an already confused film (incidentally SRK has acted worst "is it complacency" and forgot many times which of his leg is not working. by the way SRK was shown to be most frustrated with himself then why should leave his wife and kid. A dangerous indication for a character played by SRK of a person with a low level of self esteem and conviction to be portrayed as Lead Character who is the only person got what he wanted at the expense of everybody else. I need not write much because the whole idea of KANK couldn't be portrayed and some people argue that since the subject is "bold" people are not able to digest. Bold subject my foot any subject when treated with no sincere efforts lands up being a KANK. what reason BigB do to live a life like that? Put up shady jokes and what not? His character was underrated and wasted in the film. Karan I think just put Mr. B for his face value and that's a contempt of his stature.

sorry bolly buddies this time you had a good vacation but a poor film and hats off to the bunch of NRIs in foreign conuntries who bough the tickets in so much advance that they didn't have any option but to watch the movie and you proclaimed it to be your victory with the help of losers like masand of ibn.

NB: My wife is a very emotional person and she was the reason I decided to watch the movie even when I saw srk doing bad lip singing to title track. Oh I just forgot to mention Shankar,ehsaan,loy - the only saviours of karan's money.

Addendum:

Unnecessary media hype was given to the movie, NDTV CNN-IBN carried loads of useless filmy stuff to promote the movie. KANK could easliy be case study of a manipuated hit in the first week, when unsuspecting NRI's were fooled by over-publicity in buying premium tickets in advance and blocking the first week seats. KANK was again proclaimed winner by the friends of Karan and his team as soon as the film opened worldwide without even eaiting for the 8 th day. It was really disgusting to note that how the views of critics change with the starcast. However everyone came to terms with the joke of KANK and kicked off after the first week. If now somebody comes out and say that KANK is a HIT should be shown the door by the media companies. Sheer size of masses who can spend during first few days of a movie release got some money for the film and anyways the producers always minted money, it was the poor distibutor who faced the music later. - Addendum was only put in response to various articles of KANK on collections on box office.
