You purchase Rs 150/- ticket with your friends, wait with huge crowd for 50 minutes more than usual and when you come out of the multiplex, you regret this act and make a promise to yourself that I will compensate my money and time by not watching any movie next week.
Such was the effect of watching this great artistic work of immense creativity by Mr. Johar and his friends. KANK is immensely forgettable movie which even SRK fans would spit over.
Weired Plot: A fashion has started to write anything crap under the heading of some important issues, and fill just raw dust and junk in the name of content. Infidelity is a big issue because today we people have become so selfish and non caring about our own, forget others. And this gives enough ground to explore and preach endlessly about it, favoring it and even calling the act of betrayal and infidelity Love!
The complete movie is made in such a way that any sensible man would find it what it is and what is the mental frame and level of the director as well as the audience who likes it( if it really likes!).
Storyline and plot>>SRK is happily married to Priety for past four years and suddenly meets Rani who was getting married to Abhishek, with whom her dating goes upto three years in past. Both of them were doing love marriage and only on the marriage day Rani feels that how a person can marry! SRK meets her at bench and gives few faaltu dialogs which even you can't understand or draw any rationality. After 4 years of marriage Rani is a cleanliness freak and whenever Abhishek comes to her she starts taking class over keeping everything clean. Abhishek is a very lively guy who loves and respects his wife a lot. And on the same time God knows why raniji is unable to find love in him after marriage for past 4 years and always turns cold before this stud who is a dedicated husband and good human being. For what reason rani does not feel close to Abhishek is not clear neither it has any logic as no one can behave so when her husband keeps on loving her so much for past 7 years( 3 years of dating + 4 years of marriage). This boy is so caring about her that even after her such unreasonable and psycho state, her inability to give birth, he keeps on caring and caring.
on the another front, mr. SRK had met accident to become a langdu, and keeps on showing his frustration over his wife and child, who love him a lot and take all care of him.
Still God knows why he is keeping so much of grievances against his wife and child that he feels all of sudden the need to break the relationship and find soulmate in Rani...who is able to bear his habit of dirt making, rudeness.....Rani discovers she loved the chewing gum of SRK, she loved his cynical attitude, she loved a man who can't love his own child and sameway SRK finds more love in a stranger Rani than his wife who cared all the family matters, always tried to be considerate for her hubby.
Without thinking about their family they start meeting each other and even do sex. And on otherside Abhishek and preity do everything to save their marriage.
the movie seems immensely confused and contradicting itself in almost every scene. If one one side Abhishek and preity could do everything to save their marriage, why SRK and Raniji were unable to realize the same..at least they were too human and a family for past 8 years! How one can love other who is totally strange while that one is loved too much by his/her family and counterpart? Only under some psychological disorder this is possible, but this film dos not deals with any mental disorder but struggles with the mental disorder of the director the great "Mr. Karan Johar.
He lacks so much of conviction is expressed by the fact that in the second half of the movie he crossed all limits to defend his view extending the movie to extra boring 50 minutes, when audiences started throwing bottles on the screen and started moving out.
He went on by going to extent that finally he shows at the end that Abhishek and Preity were main culprit for breaking of their marriages and in fact SRK and Rani were true lover! Gosh I can't stop laughing in disgust over this movie and it's maker!
Now they will call on the later stage that this movie is not for common man...hahaha....but you see the same common man made Black a hit, made RDB a hit amid parineeta a hit! For such people I have just one answer...the common man has started transcending into quality men too! please don't take as fool and show as anything crap on the name of bold cinema or creativity.
Performances were good at some places otherwise chocked and killed by the illogical script and plot that most of the characters looked jokers. SRK was doing over acting while was good in some scenes like hiding from Rani in the last scenes. Also he was good during dinner party. But I cld not understand that ins one scenes he was shown appreciative to Amitabh while in some he was just disliking!not for only SRK character..for allt he rest of characters the movie is marred with confusion and vagueness. Rani was OK but not something appreciable. In the second half of the movie she just fumbled and spoiled all. neither there was justification of the contradictory statements made by his character..her scale was shown to be different for SRK and Abhishek for same things! She was trapped in a wrong movie was evident from her work.
As sexy SAM BigB does justice to his role butit is very small role. Many would not like the kind of role given to him keeping in the mind the stature and national respect he owns.
Priety takes over Rani with her performancethough she has been given lesser space.
But it's only Abhishek Bachchan who has done the best job given the partiality done to him by Johar in giving the space in the script.in such a badly described characters, where it's really tough to do the justice, Abhishek not only steals the show but proves that his seniors need to take lessons from him who were unable to do justice to their given roles especially SRK.
This movie has nothing to watch and even bear except Abhishek Bachchan's performance. This movie is made by a mental patient for a mental patient whose logical lobes of brain are missing and whose eyes can't go beyond cinematography, ears beyond music. Rest it's upto you to believe or not..after all it's your many and head!
