I am sorry that I have to write my very first review on this wonderful website that I am vsiiting for the last three months is comprised of questions but I think its the better way to directly hard hit the crap with strong hammer rather then to discuss this kinda pathetic cinema with lots of fancy words. (I hope you guys will not mind my DIRECT APPROACH) :)
1) Why is shahrukh abusive to his son?
2) Why did rani get in to that sexy look to lure Abhishek when he already was attracted to her?
3) Did Amitabh really miss his wife?? If so why did he get interested in to Call girls?
4) Why does Rani and Shahrukh cry all the time even when the actual sufferers were Preity and Abhi? (everytime they cried I laughed...he he)
5) Why the frame of Shahrukh in the scene where preity tells him that she is the MARD OF THE FAMILY shown as a sympathy towards shahrukh?
6) Are Rani & Shahrukh so stupid that they get in to physical intimacy in a hotel?? height of adultry!
7) What message does Amitabh and Abhishek give to the parent-son relationship of our society? A dad can have sex in front of his son without any objection and that too with a call girl??
8) When Rani calls up shahrukh from the station and when she doesn’t answer can’t he make out Rani’s number and speak to her instead of questioning HELLO HELLO?
9) After Rani runs from Abhishek in the dead of the night and reaches station she meets shahrukh (world is indeed a small place) and immediately start questioning him...batao dev batao dev (hehe)
10) What is Rani doing on the bench when her wedding is taking place? And how does Shahrukh immediately question her of not being happy?
11) Preity reminds Shahrukh of anniversary which shahrukh doesn’t remember and throughout the movie it is seen that she loves him and is there with him still Shah complains that she doesn’t give enough time to their family.... ab wo akha din ghar par rahegi to kaam kaun karega?
12)srk leaves his son without caring for his future..very selfish..its ok..everyone is but why shld he marry if he dosent wants to care for his wife and son
13)what made rani attracted to a loser DEV ..well her husband was teh perfect hubby who loved her wife a lot..reasons were never shown
14) When Preity is almost about to catch SRK red-handed on 5th Avenue, about to meet Rani, why does she just take the roses as though they were expected to meet there and just bounce off? Does that ever happen amongst couples? Wouldn't you at least ask, what're you up to now, when're you coming home?
15) When Rani and Abhishek are made to meet at the toy store and walk out after that. Why do they yap out "Singles!", "singles", "SINGLES" one after the other? Which two normal adults do that?
16) Considering the queues in ER at most NY hospitals (no matter what the emergency, there's usually an hour ish wait unless it's fatal), why are the nurses and doctors acting so jobless that they have to grab SRK and cause so much drama at the hospital?
17) Why does SRK talk crap when he firsts meets Rani yrs later and acts like he's already ENTRALLED with her? No matter what prescribed drugs you're on, who talks about, oh you're not happy, you don't have kids etc.
18) For those familiar with NY, why do SRK and Rani always meet in Jersey City if they're living in NYC?
19) Why did Maya marry Rishi if she didn't want him? I wouldve loved to see some history of their early relationship days. Was it like the love between Dev and Maya, then it died out?? Why did Rishi love Maya so much if she had never ever reciprocated that love? What more does a woman want than someone like Rishi? I mean he didn't even hit her after she told him she slept with Dev...
20) How did Dev get off the train heading to Canada??? She was watching it pull away from the station and only turned away when it was out of site. How did he get off? How didn't she see him?
21) What "chain" did SRK pull ? I've yet to see that sort of system in those trains where you can pull a chain to stop the train.
22) Why does SRK admit to Rani that his marriage is not the best the first time he meets her? How many times does that happen with Indian men who're less public about such issues?
23) How does a football player make it that big in the US considering it's a sport where not too much is invested as yet.
24) In a city like NYC, why are only whites and Indians shown? SO unrealistic.
25) Since when did Victoria's Secrets start offering S&M pleasure related items such as whips ? And HOW did Rani change into it to return home that way? Barring anything else, could her father-in-law not have been home ?
26) But most of all, why does the wind always blow in the right direction having Rani's hair flowing back?
27)Why does'nt Rani buy an umbrella ? Why does she have to walk in snow and rain always?
28)Why does'nt Rani remove her make like normal women do before going to sleep ?
29)Why cannot Rani and SRK kiss if there are so much in love and passionate about each other. Why do they only hug, rub their necks and spoil each others hairstyles ?
30)How can the most senior member of a magazine sing and dance in a weird nightclub with another man while both of their spouses are at home? Shouldn't she be celebrating with her husband ?
31)Why is Rani running in slow motion to catch the train to Canada with SRK in it. When it is just more than a hr away. She can take the next train or call on his cell phone?
32)So when both SRK and Rani are thrown out of their spouses homes - for three years they don't even get to know anything about each others lives?!??
33)Why do lessons of life are given on death-bed only?
34)Why is Louis Vuitton everywhere in the movie?
35)why is it conviniently shown tht rani cannot have kids??? breaking up a mom and her kid is difficult to portray than with a dad, isnt it? it doesnt "fit" in with our perception of a "MOM", hell it doesnt fit with any cultural perception of a MOM... its difficult to show... hence not shown at all.
36) srk abadons his son, amitabh gives bull life lessons to his son, which father-son relationship is remotely realistic and wht is to be learnt there?
37) why is it "BOLD" movie??? nuthin new is shown here. does adultery btw two ppl, having sex in a hotel room, convey boldness? WTF.
38)and WHY THE is SRK a FOOTBALL coach... I mean come onnnn... how realistic is tht??? cant he jst be an accountant who just lost his job or something...
AND HOW CAN An UNMARRIED 34 YEAR OLD GAY MAN DIRECT A MOVIE ABOUT MARRIAGE, INFIDELITY AND ITS REPERCUSSIONS??
