Well where do I start? First of all this movie KANK has brought foward many controversies! Although I many not be apart of the indian ethnicity, one thing I do understand is the way love works. I respect the indian culture and traditions they hold, but when living around the western culture, people eventually start to pick up their ways of living.

In the movie KANK, Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta are married and Abhishek Bachchan and Rani Mukherjee are married. Shah Rukh Khan and Priety Zinta not only are married but they have a child together. On the day of Rani Mukherjee's wedding, Shah Rukh and Rani meet and exchange some very important and wise words. Rani is nervous about her marriage and Shah Rukh, a complete stranger advisers her about it since he has been married for a while. At one point Rani says what if you fall in love after marriage? Shah Rukh replies by saying you will not fall in love unless you look for it. .........Obviously we can see that the whole movie was about the fast-changing world and the way marriage is changing.

Im very glad with Karan Johar’s film, in fact I would like to applaude him because for once in an indian movie you can see the truth behind love and marriage. Im not sayin that all indian movies are bull and they bring false hope, but the majority of indian movies shows you only one side of love and not all. LOVE is not something you can choose or control....people fall in love all the time and the truth is they cant control who they fall in love with. When it comes to feelings no one can control it....and then there is marriage a way of showing your love for one another....and carrying on that love ...but sometimes in life loves dies and so does marriages.....therefore in the end when someting dies....someting new begins....people need to realize that love and marriage can die and no matter how hard you try to keep it alive sometimes you are just fooling yourself.

Although Abhishek loved Rani....her feelings eventually changed as Shah Rukh's did for Priety. People cant just expect to find love and then keep it ....especially if there are ups and downs....sometimes you just have to let go ...in today marriages there are alot of unhappy marriages.....and why because people dont want to divorce or leave their spouse because its not "right". I dont have any objections with they way Rani and Shah Rukh behaved...what were they suppose to do ....stay married to people they no longer loved...stay in unhealty marriages....????

Yes I know Rani cheated on her spouse and so did Shah Rukh..could u blame them..im not sayin it is right to cheat but when love dies in one relationship..you cant expect someone to stay unhappy and torn up inside...if by any chance they do come accross a new love....why must they hide what they are feeling...it was someting that was meant to happen ....and faith led to meet again and so on .....i believe everything happens for a reason and sometimes people just need to brake the rules a little.....!!

Well as you can see I have alot to say about this film but in the end I would live to say to Karan if you read this ...you did a fantastic job and a mean fantastic.....its good to know you understand how love works....and to all those that did not like this film...dont hate it appreciate it for what it can teach you and show you :)...alot can be learned in this film so instead of criticizing it start recognizing:):).....Its just STUPID to hate on a movie that shows nothing but the truth!!!
