Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna is a movie about exploring forbidden emotions. karan Johar has done an excellent job exploring emotions that exist in all types of relationships... an very rarely do we care to or have the courage to acknowledge them. emotions are not just black or white but they exist in shades of grey. Yes this movie deals with extra marital affair, but it exposes one aspect of such a relationship. Karan Johar also portrays most marriages that exist today.. who can really say that you are completely, truely yourself with the person that you are with... 100% happy!!?? and really arent we all searching for that. few people fing there soulmates and they are lucky.

I am aware that the movie has received bad reviews. I think if karan had made an art film based on this theme he would be up for a national award or atleast a few riots and morchas!!!

He has made a commercial film, with excellent comic timing.. the first haf giving you a lot to laugh about. But then the first half also deals with discovering the one you love which is always a happy time. the secong half deals with emotions and there consequences to everyone else invloved. it is sad and touching and happy at the same time.

I think the cast has done a great job. personally I think Shahrukh Khan excels... Amitabh Bacchaan is too good in his role as a playboy and ofcourse Rani, Abhisekh and Preity are excellent as always.

I love the music. It kind of grows on you especially Mitwa and Tumhi Dekho Na.

So all you guys and girls not afraid to explore and open your soul to some emotions.. watch this movie!!
