Kank-here is my review
well am a big fan of srk..i liked karan johars kal ho na ho and kkhh..so my expectations were huge from this film..But this films disappoints a big time.. It really needs to applauds the patience of the viewers who sat through 3.5 hrs expecting film to make thier costly tickets worth atleast half of its price. But sadly its fails totally. The Script itself is a loser. Its starts with srk -priety, abhi-rani both married couples.Amitabh in an unusual role is a dad of abhi. Big B does some good job but the role dosent gives him fair amount of scope. He is the one who daily hooks up with a pros and calls it a cool even if he is 60yrs old.Now thats rubbish and son knows everything about it and that dosent matters to him..Now some people call it real. hmm may be..neways....now back to story. SRK-priet are not happy with thier marriage..well preity is but not srk. Something similar happens with abhi-rani..Abhi is the perfect hubby who loves her wife but rani is not happy with abhi...dun know why srk is not happy with priety and rani with abhi...Reasons are not completetly shown......forget it...now srk meets rani and they discuss their probs about thier marriages and in the course they fell in love with each other. They also gets into pyhsical relationship..well u really start yawning during this period. well I was about to sleep but fortubately it was interval..Now tha drama gets much boring as only life of this film amitabh dies. Before he dies he gets to know about the affair if rani and srk and askd rani to leave abhi. Now rani and srk decides to tell about thier affairs to thier spouses as they feel that they tr cheating thier spouses. BUt priety and abhi dont forgive thier spouses. Both rani and srk are asked to leave thier respective houses. Rani goes to philadeplphia while srk continues to coach the local team while living seperately.
now after 3 yrs... abhi marries a firang while priety still undecided.. and now abhi and priety wants rani and srk to marry each other.
Now get back to ddlj stuff of ending
both srk and rani meets at station and THE END
oh god..finally its over...now I can go to home..
well performance wise-abhishek was the star. rani and priety are good while amitabh excels in his role.
srk seems like back to his old days of overacting after giving a spectacular performance in swades.
Direction was OK ..but the lenghth..oh my goodness..they could have esily trimmed it by 1 hour.
