Booking Agents are Rogues. Review on KPN Travels, Bangalore

I had previously experienced this at KPN, Indra nagar, Bangalore office. The current incident happened at KPN, Velachery Chennai. When you go for cancelling the tickets the booking agent will say some new rule to avoid the cancellation. For e.g we don't do cancellation after 8 P.M. I will cancel only this ticket, for the other ticket cancellation you have to go to some other office. What I do when they tell this is that I call up the KPN, SALEM land line number which is 0427 4222222 and tell them the problem. The booking agents get angry by this and this guy at Velachery started threatening me that he will take me to the police station. I said fine. Then he got the tickets for cancelling and put them into the drawer and started threatening. He did not cancel but went on talking. I had to call the SALEM office again and told them of this rowdy behaviour. I asked them to talk with this guy over land line.

After that he cancelled one ticket. Then he started giving the no of the other ticket to Ashok nagar office for cancellation there. I told I will go and cancel it there myself. Then he cancelled the other one also. He made sure that I dont visit Velachery office here after. I thought I was lucky that I was not beaten by this guy. I have seen this booking agent in KPN Velachery for the past four years. He told that due to his service he cannot be thrown out. KPN has a complaint number which is a cell number which is always not reachable or switched off. Once you buy a ticket at KPN you better travel or lose the money.

Don't ever think of cancelling it. The agents will play with you and can beat you also, because you are trying to get your money back. The condition of the buses is also very poor. If it rains then you will get a bus with its seats drenched. I have experienced this. As seen in other reviews KPN has become a company of thugs and goondas.

If you fall at their feet and give them money humbly and politely, they will transport you.
