Recently I got my PSA test done at KIMS Secunderabad. My three months earlier PSA reading was 0.008(post Radical Prostatectomy).
The latest report PSA reading is 0.1, which is jump of 12.5 times, indicating resurgence of prostate cancer. After a sleepless night I got the test done again at Vijaya Diagnostics. The reading is 0.003. Doctor advised to ignore KIMS test report.
The other reason for my unhappiness with KIMS is that the cost of PSA is 1250, while Vijaya Diagnostics charged almost half of it for the same test. Although Vijaya Diagnostics is next door to my house, I went to KIMS due to the relationship I had with the doctors there. I don't want to get any more tests done at KIMS Secuncerabad.
