I am a foodie and believe that with a delicious and nourishing food we can pamper ourselves in the best way. I had been to Shanghai last year and was a little skeptical regarding food as I don't love anything as much as the Indian Food and heard that the options would be limited there.
I started looking for the options and backups for survival as I am not really good at cooking. On the very first day I found many outlets of KFC on my way to hotel. I didn't try KFC before so appended it in my list.
On enquiring about the daily meal options around the hotel, I came to know that we can order the food from hotel and they have a KFC restaurant in range it was a great relief.
I ordered for my first dinner. The customer care was really helpful and they understand English really well.
I enjoyed my communication while placing the order and it felt like home as Language was a big issue and I was getting desperate to talk to someone.
I ordered for few conventional dishes and a ginger chicken burger , spicy one as they had given an option to try. They suggested me to try popcorn chicken I had not heard about it and thought of giving it a try. Along with that I also ordered for some side orders one Classic Milk Tea and Fries.
The total order cost me around 40 RMB approx to 250 INR, couldn't help myself on not converting the exchange on the first day of arrival, but I must say the order was worth and full value for money .
It was a tasteful experience , it felt like pampering my taste buds with the perfectly cooked chicken. The best part was the Classic Milk Tea I was amazingly surprised with the taste. It was a home coming for me to have a taste of the tea as if its made in India.
Throughout my stay I had tried on almost all the dishes and also visited many KFC restaurants. I was quite impressed to find out the level of quality and hygiene were properly maintain at all the places. Though there were lot of rush and crowded at the counters but was nicely managed.
Every restaurant had a bilingual menu that really helped me to place the order of my choice though I had skillfully learned the sign language LOL.
On returning back to India after a delightful experience the first thing I missed the most was the awesome taste of KFC dishes.
I started looking for the options near around my place. I was amazed and happy to find out the outlet in Chandigarh.
On a fine day I planned to visit the restaurant. I was happy to find out that KFC is adhered to the quality and standards internationally. It feels the same. The Quality, the Service all were perfect and up to the mark.
Few things I liked about the restaurant:
The hub location, I had visited the restaurant located at sector 8 Chandigarh.
The menu printed clearly with visuals of the dishes above the counters.
The neat and clean environment.
The well organized sitting arrangement.
The restaurant is quite spacious and the wonderful ambiance makes it a pleasant experience. The taste was as obvious so delightful and delectable. I enjoyed my meal along with a Choco Chip Crusher beverage.
The drink was a delicious surprise and enjoyable till the last drop. If someone likes chicken then KFC is a must try. The average range of the meal contains few starters, burgers and drinks for two persons would take around 450 INR.
The buckets can also be ordered which contains 12 pieces for around 575 INR or 8 pieces for around 450 INR. Overall it’s a delicious treat for your taste buds and can be happily enjoyed with friends and family.
