I have been to many KFC outlets in the past but the experience in JM Road branch was worst.
Food:
I decided to buy Nashville 6 pcs, Medium Chicken popcorn and fries. The order took around 10 minutes or so considering there was lot of rush. I got my order and I managed to found a place to sit. While eating I noticed that Nashville chicken was not warm like usual.
I also found that chicken popcorn was given with no chicken pieces in the bucket. Instead the pieces in the chicken popcorn were mostly of fried material that is used on marination of the chicken. Other than fries I didn't find anything that was warm.
Another customer had similar complaint where they got cold boneless pieces and they tasted very bad. It seemed like yesterday's unsold food was kept in oven and served back to the morning customers.
I complained to the staff about this. But the response from the senior staff member was we can't do anything about this. This is what we have and you have to adjust with that. I felt completely uncomfortable with this sort of attitude from the staff. From there onward they didn't even looked at me and ignored my complaints further.
Customer Service:
One more problem that I have noticed is that none of the staff members were taught on how to handle customer issues. All they did was ignored the customer and didn't even directed on point where to complaint.
Ambiance & Decor:
There is absolutely no problem on this front. The outlet is precious with nice decor and with music and the proper AC, there was no issue on this front.
Value for Money:
I never had such experience with any other KFC franchise outlet in pune. I would definitely skip the Deccan mall branch of KFC.
I'll continue to buy from KFC, as long as they serve fresh and warm meal. And not some cold meal prepared yesterday and served for this high price.
