The sweets at K. C. Das, Church Street are no doubt extremely good, but the service one gets while at the shop is equally, or rather very sour, the sales people out there are extremely rude, one gets the feeling that you are out there begging at their door step.I stay 400 Kms away from Bangalore, every time I leave for home from Bangalore I carry along with me a pot of Roshgollas, a pot of sweet curd & around three Kgs of son papdies about three times in a month.The staff always seem to have an uncaring attitude but Recently was the limit, while I was there even though it was five minutes to closing time (lunch time)the boys at the counter refused to take my order even after repeated request that I was leaving Bangalore immediately after that, one of the boys who showed some Inclination to take my order was rudely pulled out from the counter by the supervisor & ordered to get along with having his lunch. The supervisor was very rude as he told me ’’Come at Three’’ there were four other customers who were shown the door, it was like talking to a gang of Illiterate people. All this in five minutes, I guess this is how long it takes for the sweets to turn Bitter. With competition around its high time they get rid of this ’’WE ARE HAVING ENOUGH BUSINESS, YOU FOR ONE CAN GO TO HELL FOR ALL WE CARE’’ attitude and train the staff, if not into some sweet talking, at the least train them to be decent with good conversational skills, be polite to the customers and serve them with a smile, then probably the excellent sweets they make, will taste even sweeter.
