So this medical college z situated near Jadavpur 8B bus stand with good connectivity from all over Kolkata.
To talk about academics the institute has neraly 150seats.And many of mt friends took admission here from my school.The college has very few seats that are filled through state joint entrance xamination and rest all seats are filled with their own entrance xamination and management quota.
The Cost for even govt seats reaches lakhs.nd for management quota if you want to get in through backdoor admission then it may reach as high as more than 50-60lakhs.
Even their admission process is very opaque.
And to talk about academics most of the students there I find are studying bcz of their parents huge money and as they have either didnot get rank in state joint xamination or have poorly performed in joint xamination.But yes they have good infrastructure for academic section and that is good about this college.They also have got good teachers and classes are held on regural basis unlike govt colleges.And campus z also very clean starting from entry to all departments.
Now to talk about their HOSPITAL SECTION THAT IS THEIR HEALTH CARE DEPARTMENTS It is one of the worst I have seen.I had admitted my patients on two instance there and both the time I got cheated.On first occasion my mother was admitted there and they couldnt relief her of abdominal pain inspite of keeping her in ICU for 3days.The disease was idebtified only to be a minor gastritis but still they kept her in ICU and increased the bills.Non of the the doctors would even talk to us as if they were some VIPs.Nd also these doctors never came in time and we used to seat for hours outside the ICU only to get a glinpse of the doctor.And also they had calculated the price of the total medices twice ie once by the TPA dept and other time by the original accounts department.
And in another case my another patient was admitted there with Epistaxis.bt doctors couldnot control BP or stop bleeding even on the 5th day.Even the cost of operation that my relative had undergone was way too high.
Overall my experience had been very bad with them.
