Meghana Gulzar's'Just married' is a very simple yet catching movie. It is about life after marriage and how marriage takes different meanings for different couples.

KANK also deals with the same subject but in a very negative way. KANK only shows failures in marriage. whereas'Just Married' deals with marital issues in a more realistic and non-dramatic way.

Theme: Theme is that two complete strangers Abhay(Fardeen Khan) and Ritika(Esha Deol) get trapped:) in the bond of marriage through arranged marriage system and within few days are forced to celebrate honeymoon with each other.

The film is all about how this honeymoon takes shape.

I do not want to tell the complete story as the story is one of the main attractions of the film( which is a rarity in today's hindi movies) .

The other strong point is the excellent direction by Meghana Gulzar.

Meghana directs the movie in her style. Surely, compared to her father's work she might seem not up to the mark.but I would like to stay away from this comparison, because Meghana makes her own mark with her original style. Her earlier venture'Filhaal' was also my favorite. but this one is much more complete than'Filhaal'.

The characterization, dialogs, lyrics everything is good.

Performances:Very good performances by Satish Shah, Kiran Kher and Bikram. Esha Deol is also not bad. But the hero Fardeen Khan really stole my heart. He comes across as a very simple guy, trying hard to be a good husband. he plays Ahay's hesitations, frustrations very sweetly. No dramatic acting, no high funda dialogs or super-heroic antics. His Abhay is as imperfect as any other good boy around us. and yet is very endearing.

Some bad points: At 1 or 2 points the film looses the grip on audience, but fortunately resumes the interest soon after.

The music is disappointing. although lyrics is very good.

In short: A must see for anyone who likes simple movies.
