My mother was hospitalized for heart problem. They did angiography and recommended to go for angioplasty based on angiography report.
36 hours after angioplasty - my mother (age 65) while still in ICCU suddenly went into coma. We were told somehow the blood pressured dropped and the blood didn't reach brain for 5 minutes. My mother never came back from coma and eventually we lost her.
At the same time my mother-in-law, much elder than my mother at age 74 was admitted into SR Mehta Hospital in King's Circle for a very complex bypass surgery (she had three blockages with complication of urine infection). My mother-in-law survived complex bypass surgery and now is well.
Jupiter hospital never explained to us properly why despite my mother being in ICCU monitoring they couldn't detect that blood pressure had dropped and why they could not save her from going into coma. My Dad must have spent close to Rs. 10/- lacs for my mother's treatment at Jupiter.
Afterwards I found that a friend of my husband-in-law at age of less than 40 had passed away at Jupiter after what seemed like a minor operation of nostril swelling.
Friends, if you loved your loved ones - please do not send them to Jupiter. They are bloodsuckers.
For cardiac and orthopedic procedures, I strongly recommend SR Mehta Hostpital at King's Circle (https://srmkpcardiac.com/). For cardiac procedures, their cardiologists (Dr. Jagdish Parikh, Dr. Daruwala) and cardiac surgeon, Dr. Shripal Doshi are the best doctors I have seen. Not only their medical services are of highest standard and staff/management very helpful, their charges are very reasonable. SRMKPCI is one of the few hospitals in Mumbai that Insurance companies like and they get cashless payment options.
The biggest difference between Jupiter and SRMKPCI is that while Jupiter is to maximize profit for their shareholders, SRMKPCI is run by a charitable trust. What I also liked about SRMKPCI is that they serve poor folks (30 to 40 cases) either free of charge or at much reduced rates. I rather spend my money at hospitals like SRMKPCI than bloodsuckers like Jupiter.
