This review specifically focuses on DR.GAUTAM RAMAKANTHAN of JUPITER HOSPITAL, thane(doctor picture attached) a senior gastroenterologist GI organ transplant and opd specialist whom unfortunately I had a chance of meeting today. After 1 hour of waiting, I along with my mother who was accompanying me were called in. I started explaining my symptoms ranging from started initially with diarrhea, burning, later constipation, pricking sensation in abdminal area etc(i even mentioned that I unable 2 sleep properly but that happened rarely maybe this was my mistake) diagonized as antral gastritis, and later colitis by earlier doctors. But he refused to look into the medical reports, even the disorder which was clearly mentioned as gastritis concluded by colonoscopy and endoscopy was nonchalantly ignored by this incompetent and snobbish doctor. Neither did he suggest any tests for appropriate diagnosis nor had the patience to listen to further of my concerns.
Now coming to the most significant part of my experience, out of all the other symptoms I had pointed out, he specifically and deliberately picked up sleeplessness and concluded that I have no problem instead suggested that I consult a shrink at the same hospital. Any good doctor usually identifies the disorder based upon certain laboratory tests. So, my question is how can a doctor ASSUME and SPECULATE solely based on patients explanations that too an utterly illogical assumption. So are doctors becoming worser than astrologists. I wish I could sue him and get him out of medical practice.
Such incompetence is utterly shocking and disappointing for patients.
