Joker is a 2019 American psychological thriller film directed by Todd Phillips, who co-wrote the screenplay with Scott Silver.
The film, based on DC Comics characters, stars Joaquin Phoenix as the Joker. An origin story set in 1981, the film follows Arthur Fleck, a failed stand-up comedian who turns to a life of crime
and chaos in Gotham City.
Arthur Fleck is a failed CLOWN Who lives in Gotham City with his fake mother. Arthur always gets insulted and humiliated by society. From Arthur friends who are also clowns like him also get bullied By the Rich class. Arthur always gets in some kinda trouble even when he is performing his stand up comic act. People who are known to Arthur makes fun of his stand up comedy act.
Feeling depressed and stressed Arthur always dreams to make
it big as a stand up comic. He always looks up to his idol Billy Murray(De Niro)who is himself a famous stand-up comedian.
The problems of Arthur don't stop here, As he suffering from a psychological disorder. He regularly goes to the doctor to take medicines and treatments.
Joaquin Phoenix plays the character of Arthur fleck who is a troubled depressed bullied clown very well. He has nearly surpassed all other actors who have played the character before.
